Yingyu Art Ceramic Institute is the first private scientific ceramic
research institute and a new advanced technological enterprise.
Mr. Su Yinghe, the founder of the institute and the most famous
porcelain carving artist in Dehua in the modern times, began to
learn arts & crafts as a child. He has devoted himself to the
research and the creation of art pottery and porcelain for over
forty years. He has rich experience and comprehensive know-how in
the respects of porcelain carving and raw material compounding and
porcelain firing. In the past over forty years, Mr. Su has not only
carried on the traditional carving techniques but also constantly
tried to improve his own skill and has gradually formed his own
unique style. On the basis of the achievements of famous ancient
porcelains and art works, he has succeeded in developing new series
of " Yingyu Porcelain ", a new kind of porcelain which can rival

of porcelain and glaze have successively won many prizes: the Silver
Medal at the First China Paten Products & Technology Fair; the
Gold Medal at the Second China Products & Technology Fair; the
Special Gold Medal at the Third China Patent Products & Technology
Fair; the Gold Medal at the Exhibition of China's Spark Science
& Technology Choice Products; the Silver Medal at the 5th Asia
& Pacific Trade Fair in Beijing in 1994; the First Prize for
the Municipal Science & Technology Progress; the Third Prize
for the Provincial Science & Technology Progress. " Yingyu Porcelain
" is really a kind of rare porcelain treasure in the modern times.
