Introduction
Year 1980, a year of changes in China having established the opening
policies of the government made many commodities of its domestic
market available to the outside world. "Wah Shing Enterprises" has
been established for umbrella trading to the PRC market from Taiwan.
Order backlog and high labor cost at the umbrella factories in Taiwan
drove "Wah Shing" to produce umbrella for the company in the year
1983. As operation experience was gained from umbrella production
at the factory as well as distributions from the PRC market, the
company had decided to put its products on an overseas export program.
First U.K., then Panama, USA and Singapore. "Kwong Hing Umbrella
(HK) Co., Ltd." was established in the same year to tailor the need
of a larger accommodation for the umbrella orders while "Wah Shing
Enterprises" had been assigned for corporate expansion on the other
sectors of investment. Customer services and priority on product
quality are our direction. "Harmony; Team work; Devoting and Aggressive"
is the slogan and back bone constituting the spirit of business
for Kwong Hing Umbrella. By the statistic of production capability,
"Wah Shing" may be the largest umbrella exporter in China.
We are taking about 4% of the total China umbrella export sharing
or think about a production capacity of three million pieces output
per month with 'Kwong Hing Umbrella' alone. Our factories in China
