Asia's Largest Paper Production Center is to built in China

Third-phase construction of Ningbo Zhonghua, a large cardboard production center, will soon begin in Ningbo, a coastal city in east China's Zhejiang Province.

The facility will become Asia's largest paper production center when the third-phase construction is scheduled for completion in 2001.

The 1.4-billion-U.S.-dollar project is designed to produce 260, 000 tons of food packaging board, 300,000 tons of fancy paperboard, and 440,000 tons of corrugated board annually.
