Earthquake
Taiwan' tea production in 1999 witnessed a sharp decline due to "Sep.,21st
Earthquake". The quake damaged 2500 hectares of tea plantations. Though
most has now been restored to production , the damage of roads in
these areas and the incessant aftershocks make the reproduction difficult.
A small amount of factory-made winter tea available includes mainly
BaoZhong Green Tea and QiuBanZhu Tea( a kind of green tea whose leaves
looking like beads). |
